A hot breeze caressed your skin as you walked through the crowded streets of Istanbul, Turkey. You were visiting Adnan Sadiı, better known as the nation of Turkey. "So, where's that house of his?", you asked yourself stroking a bang of (h/c) hair out of your face. Clueless you looked at the map in your other hand he has sent you some days ago. "According to your map", your boss said pointing at a rather huge house, "it is right there." You looked at the house, then at your boss and back at the house. You could feel your jaw drop, "T-that Turkey's got to be kidding me!" Being a rather poor country you weren't even able to afford a two story house, not even mentioning the palace you stood in front of. You sighed getting more nervous with each second that passed. "_______? It would be better if you knocked the door.. or ring the bell", your boss said scratching the back of his head as he looked at the entrance. Trying to swallow the nervousness you approached the door searching for a bell. After short time you found and rang it. Nothing happened. Maybe I didn't push it properly? You rang the bell again, this time louder. You heard steps on the other side of the door and stepped away half-hiding behind your boss. Then a brunette head with a white mask showed up from behind the now half-opened door.
"(C/N)! Welcome to my land!", the Turk opened the door at full rage letting you get a good view of the interior. It was all decorated in oriental gadgets and carpets. Once again you were astonished by the older nation's welth.
Suddenly you felt a light hit in your rips. You looked at your boss with questioning eyes and he replied you with a slight push in direction of Turkey. "ah!- Thank you, Turkey!", you managed to reply as you stumbled in his direction, "you have a magnificent place to live.", you added feeling rather jealous about the fortune the Turk must have been owning. Adnan chuckled in reply making a 'come in' geste. Unwillingly you followed his request feeling like a Begging entering the richly decorated hall of the house. You then felt a hand on your waist pushing you towards a door. Panic filled you as you looked at the owner of the hand realizing that it was Turkey. You looked at your boss who was making an apologizing move and disappeared in the crowd of passengers on the street. WHAT A CHICKEN! , you thought mentally cursing your boss for leaving you alone with the scary nation.
The mentioned nation led you into the room he was heading for and sat you down on a chair by a large table. In front of you were the most exotic sweets you could even think of. You swallowed as you felt your mouth watering. "Be my guest and eat some", the Turk laughed sitting down in the chair opposite to you. You thanked him and started tasting the sweets in front of you. You could literally see yourself sitting and eating with wide (e/c) sparkling eyes. "That's so yummy~", you said in between two bites. The man across from you smiled. After you finished with the sweets he offered you some coffee which you couldn't deny after the tons of sweets you just ate. The bitter liquid cooled down your stomach but woke you up as well. You could feel the energy bursting inside your body, ready to be released.
"So, about business..", Adnan started.
You coughed, "Well.. the cause of my visit is that.. well.. We don't have enough money to live on. You know that we just survived a long crisis but now that it's over it seems that your finances won't be enough..", you looked at the brown liquid in front of you, "so.. my boss asked me to.."
"Ask me to borrow some money, right?", the Turk finished your sentence. You nodded quietly. If you looked up in this moment you would have been able to see a spark in his eyes which he just uncovered. "Very well.", he stated causing you to look up in surprise, "I will lend you enough money for your nation to survive-" "Thank you!", you cut him in the middle of his sentence jumping up reaching for his hands to shake; you wouldn't have believed it that he would give in that fast. He coughed and looked into your eyes, "What I was trying to say, hasty bunny, was that I will lend you the money you need if you win a race through Istanbul with against me." He grinned as he saw your disappointed expression. You let go of his hands and looked down on the table, "Turkey.. How would I win against you? You're familiar with this city and it's people.. I am not.". A (h/c) vale covered your face as you decided to give up. "oh, _________ don't kill the fun before it even began!", Adnan looked at you with a sad expression. You looked up and blushed seeing him as he gave you the sweetest puppy look you have seen in your whole life. You sighed, "What do I have to do if I lost the race?" The Turk jumped up clasping his hands. "I'll think of something when that happens", he sang.

And there you were: standing in the middle of a crowded street next to Turkey to gain the money you needed to survive. All around you were people, though the sight of their representative challenging someone wasn't anything new to them. Adnan's boss stood in front of you waving a Turkish flag. "Yerlerinize.. hazır.. başla", he said and the Turk started running. You stood there not moving a single muscle. ".. THAT WAS THE STARTING SIGNAL?!", you cried after the other nation as you saw his figure getting smaller, "oh, you'll pay for that!". With that said you started sprinting after the man. You smirked as you saw him getting stuck on the heavily crowded street, trying to get past the cars. Merci, France, for showing me those Parkour
tricks!
you praised the country as you jumped over the cars leaving a surprised Turk behind you. Soon he managed to get moving again. You chuckled. if that's all we need to do, I'll win! .
For the next forty minutes the two of you kept racing tying almost all the time. You then realised a possible short cut for you- a small building with a lot of balconies was separating you from the finish line, the original way going around some more buildings. "See ya at the finish line!", you shouted and jumped up the building moving up. Turkey didn't stop this time speeding up and going the original ways 'round.
Soon you jumped up the roof of the building having an excellent view of the finish line but much to your surprise you could also see a shadow coming closer to the finish line in nearly no amount of time. Shit! You jumped down the building not caring about the pain that would eventually appear later. Rolling up you landed on the finish line tying with the running Turk.
Heavily panting the two of you collapsed on the ground. Him lying face down breathing in the dust on the rode, you looking in the cloudless sky above you. Adnan then moved his face to look at you and reached out a hand smiling. You realized that and returned the gesture shaking his hand. "Good race...", the two of you said at the same time causing him to chuckle and you to giggle. "So, who won?", you asked as the Turkish boss arrived next to the two of you kneeling down to even the levels a little. "None of you.. or better to say, both of you." You smiled. I did it! I won't die! My people won't die! but as you cheered about the victory of yours you remembered that Adnan still had a request free. You turned your head again facing the Turk and were able to see a devious grin on his face. "W-what do you want in exchange of the money..?", you asked immediately getting scared again. "Oh, nothing much..", he simply replied, " I just want to hear you say something~". You lifted yourself into a sitting position supporting yourself with your lower arm. "That be?"
"Say: Seni seviyorum~", he smiled.
"S-seni sewyjorum..?", you tried to repeat the phrase making him laugh. "H-hey! That's not funny! It's not my fault! Your language is hard to pronounce!", you said pouting.
"Then try again", the Turk said repeating the phrase.
"It's too hard!", you said stubbornly.
"I thought you needed the money?", the Turk said raising an eyebrow. You looked away.
"C-could you repeat that sentence again..?", you asked blushing.
"Seni seviyorum", he said slowly staring at your (h/c) hair forming swirls on the ground.
"Seni... s-seviyorum..", you repeated after him and looked him in the face which was covered by a slight pinkish dust and a huge grin, "Ben de seni seviyorum~" he replied joyfully.
"W-what did I just say anyways?", you looked at him curiosity sparkling in your eyes."What you said", the Turk slowly answered the grin growing wider, "was, 'I love you' and what I replied was 'I love you, too'". You blushed at the Turk which just stood up dusting his clothes off. "Y- you forced me to say that!", you said flushing and tried to stand up but your angles refused their jobs "ouch!", you said cursing in your own language. The Turk picked you up bridal style without any word of agreement. "W-what are you doing?!", you asked struggling to get free. "nothing much, dear. Just helping a beautiful person get back home without hurting themselves." Once again your face changed it's colour, this time being covered by a deep crimson. As he carried you through the city your heart stared racing as you breathed in the smell of his clothes: it was the smell of coffee, cinnamon, cardamom and curry. You arrived at his house and he laid you down on one of the guests' beds. Just as he was about to leave the room you called his name extending your arm trying to reach him: "Adnan..  s-seni seviyorum", you said this time being sure what it meant and being honest about your feelings as well. The Turk turned around facing you but you were avoiding eye contact. He slowly walked over to you and grabbed your chin forcing you to look at him.
Gently he placed his lips on yours for a short but tender kiss. Though you longed for more. " Ben de seni seviyorum. I always have", he said as he moved his face away from yours, "get some rest, my Lale. I don't want you to get overworked.". He then stood up and left the room shutting the door. You were left alone in the room lying on a fluffy big bed, staring at the door Adnan just left through.
W-what just happened..? Love and Money.. Th-that's really too much for one day.. . You let yourself fall on the soft pillows and fell asleep.
